We are in Tuscany, in the heart of the green Maremma region: the ” Rifugio da Giulia ” hotel is located in the town of Paganico. The structure, recovered from an old coal depot, is constructed using traditional Tuscan materials ( the stone, bricks, lime and wood ) to transmit the welcoming warmth of a country house.

Breakfast in Maremma we take it seriously. Homemade pies cooked by us, seasonal fruit and the inevitable cereals and yoghurt matched with jams, Tuscan ham, salami and much more...
It was a nice surprise to discover this structure, well managed with friendly but professional approach. Excellent level of comfort, clean and food. Swim pool and surround garden with volley playground included. The main value of this place is of course given by the owners (nice suggestions for restaurants, shopping and tours). Special thanks to Riccardo and Andrea!
We spent 3 days in “Rifugio da Giulia” and liked it very much. The room was nice and clean. The Hotel Team led by Riccardo was very friendly and helpful. From Paganico you can start a lot of nice tours to beutiful places in Tuscany (e.g. Castiglione della Pescaia, Montalcino, etc). Also we liked a lot the outside area with the nice Swimming-pool, table Tennis, Volleyball court, etc. All in all, we felt very comfortable in the “Rifugio”
Quiet and cosy! I have been here for 4 days, for working purposes and this hotel offers everything a tired person may need. Decent breakfast, cosy rooms, and a very friendly and helpful owner!

COME AND RELAX IN OUR SWIMMING POOL WITH JACUZZI
Immersed in the green, surrounded by the park, the swimming pool is located in the center of the structure and is very close to the rooms and apartments. Connected to the main swimming pool there is a second pool with hydromassage. A large solarium area with sunbeds, deckchairs and umbrellas gives you the opportunity to relax after an invigorating and refreshing bath.

We are in Maremma and nature makes itself felt with all its scenic landscapes and colors . The park surrounds the entire southern area of the structure offering shelter and coolness. It is possible to take short walks in the relaxing paths, to stop to read a book or to listen to the sound of nature.

The Grill House is located between the Bar and the Park. It is a facility equipped to make barbecues independently and in complete safety. A large embers station, a wood-fired oven to bake pizza and everything you need to prepare your own dishes.
